Dr. Patricia T. Warrington presently teaches courses in merchandising, promotion, and buying. Her scholarly research focuses on consumer patronage behavior, particularly as it relates to consumers’ use of technology for shopping. Her research is published in academic journals such as Journal of Retailing, Psychology & Marketing, and Journal of Business Research and has been presented at national and international conferences.

 

Dr. Warrington’s industry experience includes a thirteen year career in regional department store merchandising and management. She has held full-time faculty positions at Purdue University and Angelo State University in San Angelo and has taught courses in retailing, buying, and consumer behavior. She also spent four years working closely with small business owners as a business development specialist and Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Angelo State University.
