After earning her M.F.A. from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1996, Amy Dahm spent the following seven years as a designer with the Chicago-based Architecture, Interior Design and Urban Planning firm of Solomon Cordwell Buenz. Ms. Dahm taught at Harrington College of Design in Chicago for one year followed by a year with the Interior Architecture Program at Ohio University. For the past two years, Ms. Dahm has worked as a senior designer with the Chicago-based residential design firm, Soucie Horner Ltd.
Ms. Dahm’s scholarship focuses on creating connections within the professional and educational design communities with an emphasis on advocating diversity within the profession.
