Dr. Lark Caldwell taught in the Department of Design, Merchandising and Textiles from 1987 to 2006. She is retired and lives in Hurst, Texas. Dr. Caldwell taught a variety of courses in the department and served as merchandising program director. She served as Associate Editor of the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal and held leadership positions within the International Textiles and Apparel Association and American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. Lark F. Caldwell continues to conduct research and publish in journals such as the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal and the International Journal of Consumer Studies. Dr. Caldwell enjoys corresponding with former students and considers them her best reward for teaching at TCU.
